The company’s mission is to provide an easy and honest market for owners of producing oil and gas royalties and overriding royalty interests. Though not alone in this niche of the industry, Statewide strives to set itself apart by providing personnel service, quick responses and fair, honest and accurate transactions and conveyances. Most, if not all of our clients do not have the resources to package their properties and sell at auctions or use third party facilitators. Statewide provides a market for these people at no cost to the seller.

Company History

Statewide Minerals Company was founded in 1992 in Midland, Texas, but has been under current management since 1996, when the father and son team of James P. Boldrick and Miles Boldrick bought the company in October of that year. Miles Boldrick assumed control of the company in April of 2001 and is now sole owner and Chief of Operations. Miles Boldrick began his career in the Oil Business in 1991 as a Landman for Hillin-Simon Oil Company before moving on to Costilla Energy in the same capacity. Upon learning of an opportunity to buy Statewide, a subsidiary of Costilla, in 1996 Mr. Boldrick seized the opportunity and has been managing and building the business since that time.

Statewide has closed on over 7000 properties consisting of over 25,000 oil and gas wells. We have made transactions from private individuals such as doctors, lawyers and oilmen to institutions such as colleges and universities, banks and other financial institutions, trusts and estates. Due to Statewide’s courteous personnel and professional way of doing business we have enjoyed a tremendous amount of repeat business and have established ourselves as a leader in the industry.
